Atchafalaya River Festival
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Atchafalaya River Festival has been canceled for 2020. The festival will be held in 2021 and the scheduled date is April 9-11. Please check back for more details as they become available.
The event will feature live entertainment, vendor booths and events for kids. This festival is designed as a way to bring the communities of Simmesport and the surrounding areas together to celebrate our shared culture and way of life. Vendor booths will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. You or your organization will only pay for the cost of the booth and you will keep any and all profits from your sales. RISE has sole discretion on granting booths and repeat vendors will not be allowed. You can download a booth application below or pick one up at the Simmesport Town Hall. As more details become available, we will update this page.
